Outkast star Big Boi is teaming up with golfer Calvin Peete to host a charity sporting event for American's disadvantaged youngsters. The rapper - real name Antwan André Patton - will host a golf tournament in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of the Big Boi's Big Kidz Foundation on Tuesday.

Outkast star Big Boi is offering a $50,000 reward after thieves stole an entire collection of jeans from his wife's clothes store. The rapper - real name Antwan André Patton - was angered after thieves broke into the boutique in Atlanta, Georgia and stole his wife Sherlita Patton's top designs, reports

He told a U.S radio station, "It is not a good day when your wife calls and says, 'Babe, they got us.' So you know, I've got to see about this personally. You don't even have to call the police folk. Just call me … I'll get this handled."

Fellow rapper Ludacris blasted Oprah Winfrey when she criticized the lyrical content of his tracks live on her show last year, when he was promoting his movie Crash.

Outkast's Antwan 'Big Boi' Patton and Andre '3000' Benjamin return in a big way this August with their first appearance together in a motion picture, and the most eagerly anticipated new album of their career. "Idlewild" is set for an August 22 release on LaFace/Zomba Music Group. The film of the same name opens three days later.

"Mighty O," first single from "Idlewild," finds Dre and Big Boi rhyming together on a track for the first time in six years, since OutKast's triple-platinum CD of 2000, Stankonia. "Mighty O" was co-written by Dre and Big Boi and produced by Organized Noize.
