Singer Adele celebrated a double delight on Monday when she won two top honors at Q magazine's music awards ceremony.

The soul star was named Best Female Artist and also scooped the Best Song of the year award for her track Rolling in the Deep.

Rapper Tinie Tempah won the Best Male Artist prize, Coldplay took home the best act in the world today honor, and Bon Iver won Best Album for his self-titled disc.

Price Tag hit-maker Jessie J won Best Video for her Do It Like a Dude promo, Biffy Clyro landed the Best Live Act honor, and U2 were named the best band of the last 25 years.

British singers Adele and Jessie J are leading this year's Q Awards with three nominations each.

The Chasing Pavements hit-maker and Jessie J will battle it out for the coveted Best Female Artist award, while Adele also has two songs, Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You, in the Best Track category.

Slipknot To Stream Sonisphere Performance

Rockers Slipknot will share their upcoming set at Britain's Sonisphere festival with fans all over the world by streaming the gig over the internet.

The band will take to the stage at the rock event at England's Knebworth House on Sunday and the gig will mark the band's first U.K. show since the death of bassist Paul Gray last year.

They have asked fans to observe a two-minute silence prior to their set in memory of the late rocker, and they have now revealed they will be streaming their performance live on the internet so fans across the globe can see the show.

Liza Minnelli put her superstar status down to "hard work" as she picked up the Icon prize at the Silver Clef awards in London on Friday.

The veteran entertainer was the toast of the annual ceremony, organized in conjunction with music therapy charity Nordoff-Robbins, but she remained humble about her success as she accepted her trophy.

British rockers Def Leppard were honored Thursday night at the annual Kerrang! awards in London with this year's Inspiration Award. Thursday's even marked the 30th anniversary of the annual hard rock & heavy metal awards, put on by the British metal magazine.

But it was actor/rocker Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds to Mars who were the toast of the British rock scene after picking up two trophies.

Rockers Muse and Kasabian were the toast of the British music industry on Wednesday when they landed the top honors at the NME Awards in London.
