The Beastie Boys' "Fight For Your Right (Revisited)" video, featuring Seth Rogen, Elijah Wood and Danny McBride as the aging rap trio, has topped a new poll to find the music promo of the year.

The actors battle their future selves, played by Will Ferrell, Jack Black and John C. Reilly, in the hilarious short film, released to promote the rap group's acclaimed 2011 album "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two."

The video beat Ke$ha's "Blow" and Tyler, the Creator's "She" in Spinner.com's end-of-year round-up.

The Beastie Boys Inducted Into Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

Guns N' Roses, The Beastie Boys, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers have all won coveted places in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

The bands led the shortlist to join the famed Cleveland, Ohio museum in April, and they have now been announced as the official 2012 inductees along with late singer/songwriter Laura Nyro, Donovan, and the various incarnations of British band The Small Faces/The Faces.

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Donna Summer, and Rufus with Chaka Khan were among the acts who missed out on the honor.

The induction ceremony will take place on April 14th.

The Beastie Boys are releasing replicas of their action figure alter-egos which featured in the band's video for Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win.

The rappers were depicted as miniature toys in the action-packed video directed by Spike Jonze, and now fans will be able to get their hands on their very own versions, which are now on sale via the trio's website.

The Beastie Boys are teaming up with hotshot director Spike Jonze again for a new video featuring their action figures.

Jonze, who directed Beastie Boys' iconic Sabotage and Sure Shot promos, has signed on to make Don't Play No Game That I Can't Win with the trio.

Beastie Boys star Mike D regularly broke down in tears during the recording sessions for the band's latest album because the drugs he was taking for painful dental work left him feeling "angry and angsty."

Beastie Boys star Adam Horovitz has ruled out any tour plans to promote their new album until rapper Adam Yauch has fully recovered from cancer.

Yauch, aka MCA, has been undergoing treatment since July 2009, when doctors found a tumor in his parotid gland.

He has also adopted a strict vegan diet and turned to ancient Chinese medicine to help him beat the disease, and although his prognosis is good, Horovitz admits the band is putting off any live dates following the release of "Hot Sauce Committee Part Two" until Yauch's back to full health.

An auction of exclusive personal items and memorabilia donated by EMI’s family of artists and songwriters has raised $940,000 in funds to help the Red Cross support people affected by last month’s earthquake and tsunami in Japan.

The charity auction, which launched on eBay’s worldwide sites on April 5, attracted bids totaling $470,000 from music fans around the world. All the money from winning bidders will be doubled through a donation by EMI.
