Bad Religion To Unleash A Christmas Album

Rock veterans Bad Religion are giving traditional Christmas carols a punk makeover for a holiday album.

The bandmates have long joked about giving hardcore fans a shock with a Christmas project and now they have decided it's time to have a little festive fun.

Christmas Songs will be released in late October and will feature eight seasonal standards, including White Christmas and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, while they will also add a remix of their sinister single American Jesus to the nine-song tracklist.

MxPx is Mike Herrera on vocals and bass guitar, Tom Wisniewski on guitar, and Yuri Ruley on drums. Sometimes wishes do come true. For fans of Fenix TX who wished for reconciliation after the band's sudden break-up in 2002, the dream will become reality on November 8 when the highly anticipated Purple Reign In Blood - Live album (with enhanced CD featuring a live video of "Katie W") will be released.
