Paul Rodgers will no longer be kneeling before Queen - he has quit the rock super-group to concentrate on reforming Bad Company.

Queen are planning a return to the charts in 2008 after recording nine new songs with singer Paul Rodgers. The "Show Must Go On" rockers are said to be delighted with the progress they're making on their first studio album since frontman Freddie Mercury's death in 1991.

Original Bad Company bassist and King Crimson member Raymond "Boz" Burrell has died. He was 60. Burrell died on Thursday at his home in Spain, according to a statement released by Led Zeppelin's Swan Song Records.
