Backstreet Boys star Howie Dorough has become the final member of the boyband to launch a solo career - he's set to release his debut album in November.

The singer, who is currently on a joint Backstreet Boys/New Kids On The Block tour, is putting the finishing touches to "Back To Me" and he hopes the tracks will show fans the "full range" of his vocal abilities.

Backstreet Boys star A.J. McLean has become the proud owner of a picture of Lindsay Lohan posing as a vampire after buying the piece from photographer Tyler Shields.

The Mean Girls star sported fangs and covered herself in fake blood for the shoot with Shields and the snaps were exhibited at his Life Is Not A Fairytale show in Los Angeles this month.

McLean has now revealed he purchased one of the Lohan snaps, which shows her straddling Vampire Diaries star Michael Trevino and pretending to stab him with a knife.

A.J. McLean To Leave Rehab Next Week?

Backstreet Boys star A.J. McLean is "doing very well" in rehab and he's scheduled to be released in a week's time, according to his bandmate Brian Littrell.

The 33-year-old singer has battled substance abuse issues for many years and after two stints in clinics in the early 2000s, he sought help again earlier this month.

McLean enrolled in a program "for personal reasons" and his pal Littrell has revealed the pop star is recovering well and has just a week of treatment left.

Backstreet Boys' pop comeback has hit a stumbling block - singer A.J. Mclean has reportedly returned to rehab to conquer his drug and alcohol demons once and for all.

The singer has battled addiction for years and enrolled in treatment programs in both 2001 and 2002 for alcohol and cocaine abuse.

But a source tells TMZ.com McLean has struggled with sobriety in recent months and is now "out of control", threatening to derail the group's plans to hit the road for their upcoming joint tour with New Kids on the Block.

Boy band super-groups New Kids On The Block and the Backstreet Boys have confirmed reports they're teaming up to tour together in 2011.

The two acts thrilled fans at a New Kids concert in New York in June when they took the stage together to perform a rendition of Backstreet Boys hit I Want It That Way and the duet was such a success the members of both bands have agreed to hit the road together next summer. There will be an official announcement at the American Music Awards later this month, when the two bands will perform together again.

The Backstreet Boys have parted ways with their longtime record label after 16 years on the roster.

The boy band signed to Jive Records in 1994 and released seven albums through the label over the years. They have now announced their departure from Jive in a post on their official website, titled "Freedom," which dismisses rumors they were dumped from the books because of falling album sales.

It's hard to imagine that it's been 20 years since I wore my New Kids On The Block t-shirt holding a pink and black pocket rocker, which was playing "Hanging Tough" of course, in one hand and a sign saying "I hart you Jordan!
