The Biggest Boy Band Scandals Of All Time

July 4th, 2014 6:01pm EDT
The Biggest Boy Band Scandals Of All Time
While boy bands of years past have lived in a pure, pre-pubescent bubble, micromanaged by corporate fat cats determined to keep their sweet musical magic going and generating high revenue for record companies, today's singer/songwriters feel the need to break the chains of their predecessors and run forth with a new type of poster boys. Gone are the days when pure-unmarred skin, shiny teeth and sticky sweet love songs ruled the charts. Today's boy bands are pierced, tattooed and ready to speak their mind. But still, scandal continues to creep up around these money-making entities, who rely ...

Review: Backstreet's Back 'In A World Like This' And They're 'Alright'

August 2nd, 2013 1:15pm EDT
Backstreet Boys : In A World Like This
Where does the aging millennial boy band go in the day and age where One Direction rule the roost? Well the Backstreet Boys sorta embrace their maturity without sounding anachronistic and also balancing some modern pop trends.  Ultimately the Backstreet Boys’ latest effort In A World Like This will not be hailed the second coming or innovative, but it is a definitely a better album than I would’ve envisioned.  No, I’m not changing my opinion of boy bands or nothing like that, but In A World Like This is, um…decent.

“In A World Like This” straddles adult contemporary with some subtle dan...
