'The Voice' Recap: The Final Battles Have Surprising Results

March 27th, 2012 1:07am EDT
The Voice
We're down to the last battle rounds on The Voice. The last chance for hopeful artists to grab a spot in the live shows. (Can you believe we're headed into the last phase of the competition already? How time flies when you're singing your heart out!)

The night kicks off with Team Cee Lo: Wade vs. James Massone, with Cyndi Lauper's "True Colors." On first instinct, this might be a mismatch. 'The Voice' Recap: Week 3's Battle Rounds Give '102 Percent'

March 20th, 2012 1:00am EDT
The Voice
We're now halfway through battle rounds on The Voice. There have been some fantastic battles so far - so who's next?

Well, that'd be Team Adam (yay!). My coach gets right down to business, matching Pip vs. Nathan Parrett, and sending them off with Amy Winehouse's "You Know I'm No Good." Pip gets to work with Alanis, while Nathan gets Robin Thicke. The latter result...

The Voice
The chairs are done turning, and now it's time to go to battle. We start season two battle rounds this week on The Voice, and just like last season, they are both beautiful and painful. They're great because we get some absolutely wonderful duets, but they hurt because we have to say goodbye to half the artists.

Team Adam leads off, and the first battle pairing of season two is Tony Lucca vs. Chris Cauley. "You guys are going to be singing in harmony and secretly trying to destroy each other," Adam says, which is both hilarious and accurate. He gives them U2's hit (and sometimes o...
