The former Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman teamed up with the R&B superproducer for a different sound on new solo record Scream.

Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave star Tom Morello has been declared a soldier for peace by a group of Iraq War veterans. The rocker has been presented with one soldier's medals for fighting for an end to war back home in America.

Proud Morello tells Spin magazine, "A member of the Iraq Veterans Against the War gave me his medals after I played a Nightwatchmen show at the Winter Soldier conference. He gave a moving speech, saying, 'The real battle for freedom and democracy is not overseas; it's here. And you're a soldier in it.'"

Rocker Chris Cornell is celebrating the return of his beloved guitar collection following a long court battle with his ex-wife.

The former Audioslave singer divorced Susan Silver - who managed his former band Soundgarden - in 2004. Former Audioslave vocalist Chris Cornell has been forced to postpone his forthcoming European tour due to scheduling conflicts. The singer, who also fronted Soundgarden, was due to kick off a series of 20 live dates in the Netherlands on May 30.
