Musician Chris Cornell (Audioslave, Soundgarden), 41, and his wife, public relations executive, Vicky, 27, welcomed their second child, a son, on December 5 at 7:08 pm in Los Angeles.

The baby, named Christopher Nicholas, weighed in at 8lbs 6oz and was 21 inches long. The couple already have a 14 month-old daughter, Toni.

Both mother and son are doing very well.
