Last Stop Suburbia
Release Date: 2002 10 08
Label: Extra Mile Records
Rating:

Last Stop Suburbia is more typical Drive-Thru Records pop-punk from a band whose bio admits, "Growing up, punk rock was Screeching Weasel, Green Day and the Queers, and that's all they wrote: fast pop-punk with catchy-as-hell melodies. That's what we try to maintain." For what it's worth, Allister is capable of following through on its statement, as this is an album filled with upbeat, poppy songs with nice melodies and songs about girls and rock & roll. It's competent and well played, but hardly original. This is perfect bubblegum pop-punk for a new generation; the older kids will no doubt be sticking to their Jawbreaker, Riverdales, and Operation Ivy albums. Kurt Morris, All Music Guide
