God, I miss the original Alice In Chains band so much. Layne, why did you have to do what you did, and mess up on drugs? There isn't anyone else out here now that can even come close to your unique voice. When you died, you left a huge void in the music world now. I really miss you Layne. You were the best. R.I.P.

To Celticgrl5-252, I have to agree with you one hundred percent. There are no bands out here right now that make music like Alice In Chains. I agree with you, they were very unique in sound, and they really put the Pacific Northwest on the map.

You know, it is really sad that a band that was so wonderful as Alice In Chains was so unfortunately brought down by the death of Layne Stanley. Oh man, they had a sound that only belonged to them. and no one could sing like Layne. And he was hot looking too. I still play their music, and think about him from time to time. When he passed away, no one could take his place. They really had put Seattle on the map. I miss Layne. To Layne, R.I.P. Even though you're gone, you are not forgotten by me..

I have been listening to AIC since 1991, they have been and always will be my favorite band, but as far as i'm concerned the day layne died alice in chains also died.

I'm a cheerleader, and everyone thinks that it's so weird that I love music like this. Such as: AC/DC, Led Zeppelin, Alice In Chains, Rage Against the Machine, and Sound Garden.Stuff like that. Whatever. I still love it!
