They managed small hits on their own Nia label with &"Release Yourself," &"Get Loose," and &"Confusion," which resulted in the Atlantic deal. Leroy Burgess (ex-leader of Black Ivory and identical twins Tunde-Ra & Taharqa Aleem goes for the brass ring with fine examples of what they do: &"Love's on Fire," &"Two Faces," and &"Dance to the Groove"; the album mixes upbeat dancefloor jams with mid-tempo romps, and ballads.
