Country singer Trace Adkins's wife has filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences."

Rhonda Adkins, the singer's third wife, filed court papers in the couple's home state of Tennessee on Monday to end their 16-year marriage, according to TMZ.com.

The couple wed in 1997 and share three daughters together, who Mrs. Adkins has requested custody of, along with alimony and child support.

Country star Trace Adkins was allowed to leave a rehab facility he checked in to earlier this month (Jan14) over the weekend (begs24Jan14) to purchase a new guitar.

The You're Gonna Miss This hitmaker entered a a clinic in Lake Worth, Florida after suffering a setback in his battle with alcohol, but he briefly left the treatment facility to pick up an acoustic guitar at a local guitar shop.

Country star Trace Adkins has checked into rehab to seek treatment for alcoholism.

His representative has confirmed the singer entered a clinic earlier this week (begs13Jan14) after suffering a setback in his battle with alcohol.

She tells Country Weekly magazine, "As he faces these issues head-on, we ask that his family’s privacy will be respected."

Country star Trace Adkins has joined the Christmas rush to release a holiday-themed album by announcing plans for a Celtic-enthused collection.

The King's Gift will feature guests The Chieftains and Kevin Costner and his daughter Lily, and include a series of hymns like Adkins' versions of Wexford Carol, O' Come Emmanuel, Away In A Manger and We Three Kings.

He'll also team up with the Costners on Silent Night.

The fire that gutted country singer Trace Adkins' Tennessee home over the weekend was caused by an electrical fault.

The singer's three daughters and their nanny had to flee the property and watch as the blaze destroyed the property on Saturday evening.

Adkins himself was en-route to a show in Alaska and didn't learn about the tragedy until he touched down. He immediately boarded another plane and flew home to be with his family.

CMT.com reports the blaze was caused by an overheated or loose electrical connection in a power strip located beneath a workbench in the garage on the estate.

Two Die In Collision With Trace Adkins' Tour Bus

Two men died this morning when their pickup truck collided with one of Trace Adkins' tour buses near Shreveport, LA., according to CMT.com. Adkins was not on the bus, but five members of his band and crew sustained minor injuries. The bus was on its way to a concert Adkins was doing with Martina McBride and Sarah Buxton in Bossier City, La.

The pickup truck was traveling north on U.S. 71 when it crossed the center line and ran head on into the southbound bus. The truck's driver and his passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. Nine people were traveling on the tour bus.
