June 29th, 2012 12:55pm EDT
R Kelly
R. Kelly's autobiography "Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me" comes out this week with one glaring omission: there's no mention of his infamous sex tape, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.

In February 2002, a sex tape was delivered anonymously to the Sun-Times' offices. They handed it to police because it seemed an underage female appeared on it. Kelly had to go to court, but he was acquitted after the judge ruled that the prosecution could not introduce as evidence photographs found on a digital camera during a raid at the singer's home in Davenport, Florida.

The singer had vowed to detail ...

Elliott was devastated by the news and agreed to perform a benefit concert in memory of her pal - but still shudders when she remembers what critics said of her emotional performance.

She says, "One time I did an event for Aaliyah after she passed away an...

Before music was all about overnight pop stars and monster-selling albums, there was an unwritten rule in the record business that true artistry takes time to cultivate. Nowadays, real artist development seems virtually extinct, but there are some new-school purists – like singer/songwriter Johnta Austin – who are reverting back to the industry's original mantra: just make good music.

An accomplished songwriter, Austin is the pen behind such hits as Toni Braxton's "Just Be ...
