Rapper 40 Glocc has been arrested in San Bernardino, California, on weapons violation charges.

The G-Unit Records rap star, real name Lawrence White, was caught by police in possession of a nine-millimetre semiautomatic handgun on Sunday.

White was identified by police as a member of the Colton City Crips gang.

He was arrested close to an area he and other gang members are banned from congregating near under a 2008 court injunction.

Other gang members were with him.
