Glee star Chris Colfer is set to be Struck By Lightning when he makes his movie debut in his own comedy.

The Emmy-nominated actor wrote the script for the coming-of-age film himself and has teamed up with Youth in Revolt producer David Permut to bring the project to the big screen. And Permut admits he was blown away by the quality of the screenplay, comparing Colfer's talents to that of late director John Hughes.

"Youth In Revolt" star Michael Cera spent his Christmas holidays in silence, studying meditation at a retreat in his native Canada. The actor returned home to visit his family in Toronto last month and decided to check himself into a relaxation center, where guests are urged to keep their lips sealed for the duration of their stay - to better understand the meditation process.

January 4th, 2010 9:44am EST
A belated Happy New Year to all. I hope you each had happy holidays and got a chance to view all of the movies you wanted to see.

I haven't seen James Cameron's "Avatar" yet, although it's the top movie on my list right now. I've heard the film showcases some impressive visual effects, but that its dialogue and character development are not as strong. Regardless, I'm still anxious to see for myself.

2010 starts out with the release of "Daybreakers," "Youth in Revolt," "Leap Year," "Crazy on the Outside," "Wonderful World," and "Bitch Slap."

By 2017 a plague has ...
