January 25th, 2011 8:48am EST
Anna Faris
Anna Faris has received an apology from New Zealand tourism officials for questioning her "credibility" after she described the country's men as foul-mouthed louts in a recent interview.

In a chat with TV talk show host George Lopez last month, the actress admitted men on the streets of Auckland had shouted profanities at her while she was living there during the filming of kids' movie Yogi Bear.

Faris' claims prompted Tourism New Zealand spokesman Ian Long to hit back by criticizing her acceptance of a prize from High Times magazine during the Lopez Tonight show for playing a marijuana...

Justin Timberlake Learned To Sing From Michael Jackson

December 25th, 2010 9:30am EST
Timberlake,_Justin
Justin Timberlake is hardly recognizable in his latest role. He provides the voice of Boo Boo in the live-action Yogi Bear, so you don’t see his face an it doesn’t even sound like him. It turned out Timberlake is quite a mimic, as he revealed the skills that taught him how to sing in the first place.

“Funny enough, I learned how to sing when I was a kid imitating singers on the radio,” Timberlake said. “Al Green, Michael Jackson and Don Henley, those a few names I can remember off the top of my head.”

Animated bears were an afterthought that came with Timberlake’s hidden talent. “I’m an o...

Aykroyd,_Dan
Of course Dan Aykroyd wants people to go see his movies so they can be successful, but he also wants you to go outside and enjoy nature. So go see Yogi Bear where Aykroyd imitates the unmistakable voice of the talking bear. Then take a break.

“I would personally say put up the texting, BlackBerry, laptop, get rid of it for at least a long weekend or four or five days, once or twice a month,” Aykroyd said. “We are ruining the attention span of this generation. It’s time to get back to nature and get back out and see that there are other creatures out there other than our friends that are be...

December 14th, 2010 12:00pm EST
Yogi Bear
The Internet is buzzing due to a new video making the rounds of an alternate ending to family-friendly movie Yogi Bear, in which the titular character's side kick Boo-Boo kills him. However, the ending won't be shown in any theaters.

The fan-made sequence looks eerily similar to the movie, to the point some are wondering if the creator got his or her hands on the movie and was able to re-animate it. In a shot-for-shot re-creation of a scene in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, Yogi Bear realizes that his friend Boo-Boo plans to kill him for reward money. Seeing an...

Justin Timberlake
Justin Timberlake decided to voice Yogi Bear's cuddly sidekick Boo Boo in the new animated kids' movie to "feel better about himself" - after finding out pre-teen kids were fans of his racy track Sexyback.

The Cry Me A River hit-maker has turned his back on pop over the last few years to concentrate on making movies, but stunned fans when he decided to voice the part of a cartoon character for the new Yogi Bear outing.

However, Timberlake insists he felt compelled to take on something clean-cut, after a nine-year-old fan's mom told him her child loved his risqué music.

He says, "I've ...

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies - 'Tron: Legacy,' 'Yogi Bear,' & More

December 13th, 2010 9:29am EST
Tron Legacy
Last Thursday I saw “I Love You Philip Morris” starring Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. This film, which is written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and Jon Requa, the team behind “Bad Santa,” advertises itself as a funny movie; however it leans more dramatic than expected. Most of the hilarious lines are spoiled by the trailer, so when you get a chance to see the whole product, you’ll find yourself a bit let down.

Both Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor are incredibly convincing as a gay couple from the manner of their speaking down to the body language that they use. Their story is one that pull...
