A story told many times over, what makes Andrea Arnold’s "Wuthering Heights" such a standout is her sheer affinity for real emotion. In the world of all things Arnold love and pain go hand in hand and by focusing on the raw elements of Emily Bronte’s novel, never has a book been more befitting of a filmmakers’ cinematic style. Told almost as a cautionary tale against infatuation, her story is at times arduous to get through – and I adored every lovingly painful minute.

Fifteen Oscar statuettes, including the trophy awarded to the screenwriter of Citizen Kane, are set to be auctioned off next week.
Two days after the 84th annual Academy Awards on Sunday, more a dozen golden statuettes will be auctioned off, marking the largest collection of Oscars ever to be sold in one go.
Included in the lots are Herman J. Mankiewicz's prize for his screenplay of 1941 classic Citizen Kane, the Best Picture Oscar won by 1933 movie Cavalcade, and cinematographer Gregg Toland's 1939 trophy for black and white movie Wuthering Heights.

Hollywood star Natalie Portman has dropped out of a forthcoming big-screen adaptation of Wuthering Heights over conflicts in her schedule.
The Star Wars actress was set to play the film's lead role, Cathy Earnshaw, in John Maybury's take on the classic Emily Bronte novel, but has quit the project in favor of an unknown movie venture. Portman was slated to appear opposite German actor Michael Fassbender, who will play the iconic Heathcliff in the film.

Tearjerker Casablanca has been voted the most romantic movie of all time in a new internet poll. Visitors to Moviefone.com named the 1942 World War II classic their number one, ahead of Titanic in second place and Wuthering Heights in third.
