"Rocky" has fought off competition from "Cool Runnings" and "Million Dollar Baby" to be named the U.K.'s favorite sports film.

Sylvester Stallone's 1976 movie about underdog boxer Rocky Balboa topped a poll by Lovefilm ahead of the 1993 comedy about the Jamaican Olympic bobsleigh team and Hilary Swank's Oscar-winning turn in Million Dollar Baby.

Actor Mickey Rourke has accused his ex-wife of "chasing the buck" by detailing their relationship in a new book.

The Wrestler star wed Carre Otis in 1992 after they co-starred in movie Wild Orchid, but their tumultuous union was rocked by allegations of domestic abuse and the model/actress' heroin addiction. They divorced six years later.

Actor Mickey Rourke has dropped out of the new Expendables movie to work alongside Colin Farrell on Seven Psychopaths, according to reports.

The Wrestler star, who played Tool in the first film in Sylvester Stallone's action franchise, was expected to resurrect his character again in 2012's The Expendables 2, alongside Jason Statham, Bruce Willis and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

But, now Rourke has decided to walk away from the film due to the low pay check and is in negotiations to star in Martin McDonagh's movie instead, according to Deadline.com.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — An adviser to Iran's president on Sunday demanded an apology from a team of visiting Hollywood actors and movie industry officials, including Annette Bening, saying films such as 300 and The Wrestler were "insulting" to Iranians.

Without an apology, members of Iran's film industry should refuse to meet with representatives from the nine-member team, said Javad Shamaqdari, the art and cinema adviser to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

"In my viewpoint, it is a failure to have an official meeting with one who is insulting," Shamaqdari told The Associated Press.
