September 10th, 2012 8:45am EDT
The Possession
Not many people go to the movies this time of year as evidenced by the latest box office numbers. Creepy thriller "The Possession" topped the weekend box office for the second weekend in a row taking in a mere $9.5 million.

Inspired by Los Angeles Times writer Leslie Gornstein's article "A Jinx in a Box," "The Possession" stars Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Kyra Sedgwick. It tells the tale of a broken family that comes under attack from a malevolent supernatural entity of Jewish folklore.

September 6th, 2012 3:07pm EDT
The Words
'The Words' written and directed by Brian Klugman and Lee Sternthal (co-wrote story for 'Tron-Legacy') is a movie within a movie within a movie.

Yes, it does sound confusing and convoluted, but it's really a very compelling and entertaining film.

When 'The Words' begin, we meet celebrated novelist, Clay Hammond (Dennis Quaid). He's standing before a crowd of fans, including grad student, Daniella (Oliva Wilde) reading excerpts from his bestselling novel, entitled, 'The Word'.

As Clay continues to read out loud, the story comes to life and we meet the characters from his book, starting ...
