2/24/2016 12:15pm EST
Interview: Fabulous Famke Janssen On 'Jack Of The Red Hearts,' C
If quality acting chops and timeless beauty had a face it would be that of the fabulous Famke Janssen. A talented and stunning on-screen siren, Janssen has made a long career out of playing both serious and sexy characters that lovingly linger and she shows no signs of stopping. Her latest sees the ample actress taking on the inspired role of an overworked mom of an autistic daughter who hires a caregiver that might not be all she seems in the new drama "Jack of the Red Hearts." The film, which co-stars AnnaSophia Robb and Scott Cohen, not only features a fine turn by Janssen, but also sp...

X-Men Days Of Future Past
The first full-length trailer for next spring's X-Men: Days of Future Past was relesed on Tuesday, and the new clip gives quick glimpses of some new characters and confirms what the title suggests: time travel.

The film brings the cast of the first three X-Men films together with that of 2011 prequel X-Men: First Class and "the overall tone is a bit darker than previous films, particularly because of the stakes," according to director Bryan Singer, who answered fan questions during a fan chat on Twitter Monday.

The story finds Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) sending Wolverine (Hugh Jac...

'The Wolverine' Takes The Character To Captivating New Places

7/29/2013 1:12pm EDT
The Wolverine
After three busy “X-Men” films where Wolverine struggled to stand out, and one trainwreck solo picture, James Mangold’s “The Wolverine” finally does the character justice. Mangold not only satisfies us by providing depth to Wolverine’s familiar traits, but he surprises us by taking the character to captivating new places. Although his flick isn’t Oscar-worthy, the film is good enough to make its terrible predecessor “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” seem like a candidate for “Mystery Science Theater 3000.”

Thankfully, “The Wolverine” seems to pretend that Gavin Hood’s “X-Men Origins” didn’t even ...

'The Wolverine' Review: The Clawed Superhero Mutant Is Back! Does It Entertain?

7/27/2013 7:05am EDT
'The Wolverine'
I really feel for The Wolverine, aka Logan (Hugh Jackman).  The poor guy can't die, doesn't have any cool people to hang out with and he's suffering from major depression.

On top of that, he's still in love with his ex girlfriend (Famke Janssen. Even though he killed her, their relationship seems to be going well.  Of course, Logan can only see her in his dreams.

No wonder our century year old mutant has the blues.

However, we don't know all of that quite yet.

When 'The Wolverine' directed by James Mangold opens, Logan is having a flashback. It's 1944 and he's in Nagasaki, just as the...

The Wolverine
The new full-length trailer for The Wolverine has just been released, giving us a better idea of Logan's journey to Japan.

Still haunted by the events X-Men: The Last Stand, in which Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) had to kill Jean Grey (that's her, played by Famke Janssen, in the beginning of the trailer) so she wouldn't be corrupted by her latent Phoenix powers, Logan is found by an assassin who explains her employer has an offer: Death.

As the trailer explains, Wolverine saved a man's life during World War 2 by throwing him into a well and covering him as an atomic blast ripped through the ...

Hugh Jackman
The star of the popular "X-Men" movies, Hugh Jackman, was attacked while pumping iron at his local gym on Saturday morning. Luckily, instead of fighting off Sabretooth or Magneto, the attacker was a crazed fan. The weapon of choice: an electric razor. The kicker? The razor was loaded with pubic hair.

Katherine Thurston approached Jackman and allegedly professed her love for him and threw her razor at him before running out of the complex. Thurston was caught shortly thereafter by local police and arrested. Jackman revealed later that Thurston has been stalking him and his family for some t...
