Two Jews on Film - By Joan Alperin Schwartz: What would you do if you suspected that your six year old son was an evil sociopath? (Are there any other kind?) I know what I would do...Lock him away and throw away the key.

Unfortunately, this is not what Eva Khatchadourian (Tilda Swinton) in 'We Need To Talk About Kevin' does. In fact, Eva does absolutely nothing and that's a decision that will haunt her until the day she dies.

'The Artist' Leads 2012 BAFTA Nominations

Silent movie The Artist looks set to continue its winning streak after picking up a massive 12 nominations for the 2012 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA).

The critically-acclaimed film, which won a coveted Best Picture prize at the Golden Globes on Sunday, now looks set to dominate the U.K. film awards after the nominations were announced on Tuesday.

The Artist scored 12 nods in categories including Best Picture and Best Director for Michel Hazanavicius, as well as acting honors for its stars Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo.

'The Tree Of Life' Tops Online Film Critics Awards

The Tree of Life
Terrence Malick's complex The Tree Of Life has been handed another honor - officials at the Online Film Critics Society have named the movie their Best Picture of the Year.

The film, starring Brad Pitt, Jessica Chastain and Sean Penn, picked up seven awards on Monday, including Best Director for Malick, Best Supporting Actress for Chastain and Best Cinematography for Emmanuel Lubezski.

Other winners included Michael Fassbender (Best Actor for Shame), Tilda Swinton (Best Actress for We Need to Talk About Kevin) and Christopher Plummer (Best Supporting Actor for Beginners).

'The Help', 'The Artist' And 'The Descendants' Dominate 2012 Golden Globe Nominations

The Help, The Artist and The Descendants will be the ones to beat at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards after landing four nominations each.

The Help will go head-to-head with The Descendants in the Best Motion Picture (Drama) category alongside The Ides of March, Martin Scorsese's Hugo, Steven Spielberg's War Horse, and Moneyball.
