'Wallace & Gromit' Creators Get Paltry Insurance Payout
Wallace And Gromit creators Aardman Animations have received an insurance payout of less than $1.7 million to cover the valuable clay figures lost in the blaze that destroyed their warehouse last October. In the fire at their warehouse in Bristol, England, the animators lost, among other characters, much-loved plasticine double act Wallace and Gromit from Oscar-winning movies including Wallace & Gromit: Curse Of The Were-Rabbit.

Fans Lobby for 'Wallace & Gromit' Statue
Fans of animated duo Wallace And Gromit are campaigning for statues of the madcap inventor and his brainy dog to be erected in their 'hometown' of Bristol, England. Oscar-winning animator Nick Park created Wallace and Gromit in the Aardman Animations studio in Bristol, and after their Academy Award win on Sunday fans believe the city should capitalize on Park's success.
