Legendary director Oliver Stone is set to make a movie about U.S. president George W. Bush - and he's appealing to Josh Brolin to take the title role.

The Police drummer Stewart Copeland is hoping to cash in on the band's reunion by releasing a new best of compilation. "The Stewart Copeland Anthology" will include the rocker's soundtrack recordings for films like The Pallbearer, Wall Street, Very Bad Things and Rumble Fish, which earned the drummer a Golden Globe Nomination for Best Score, alongside rare and unreleased material.

Michael Douglas will reprise his role as unscrupulous stockbroker Gordon Gekko in a Wall Street sequel. Producer Edward Pressman, who made the original film in 1987, reveals a deal was made last week with 20th Century Fox to produce a second installment following Gekko on his release from prison.

Movie director Oliver Stone has been accused of using racist language to a Hollywood screenwriter. African American screenwriter Barry Michael Cooper claims Stone made an offensive comment when he approached the Platoon director at a party in 1991, to praise his work.

A string of Hollywood stars including Sylvester Stallone and John Cusack are facing legal action over the money they made from a collapsed hedge fund for classic 1987 film Wall Street. The pair is being sued for "unjust enrichment" after investing in the movie advisor Ken Lipper's scheme and pulling out with huge profits ahead of its 2002 collapse over fraud.

Michael Douglas was confronted by Oliver Stone while filming Wall Street because the famed director believed the actor was using drugs. Stone felt Douglas was struggling with the role of Gordon Gekko and thought drug use could be cause of his lackluster performance.
