Andre 3000
According to the Irish Film and Television Network, Andre 3000 is headed to Ireland to begin production on the Jimi Hendrix biography film All Is by My Side. Where will it stack up among these great music biopics?

The Jacksons: An American Dream followed the Jackson 5 (with a focus on Michael) as the group dealt with their fast rise to fame and Michael's solo career. The two-part miniseries was seen by almost 40 million households in 1992.

Ray, the biography of Ray Charles, earned Jamie Foxx a deserved Academy Award for Best Actor in 2004. Sadly, Charles died months before the premi...

Cameron Diaz Shows Off Her Long Legs In Short Shorts

June 13th, 2011 12:00pm EDT
Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz looked sexy in white shorts at the photocall for her new movie "Bad Teacher" in Madrid, Spain, today. The actress also wore a pink blazer, red belt, and skin-toned strappy heels. We think she rocks the casual look, don't you?

In the comedy from director Jake Kasdan ("Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story"), a booze-swilling, pot-smoking, hard-swearing seventh-grade teacher (Diaz) rallies to get out of the classroom for good by wrangling a rich substitute teacher into marriage.

Justin Timberlake also stars.

Walk Hard star Jenna Fischer was once jailed for running a red light and forgetting to show up in court.

A warrant for the actress' arrest was issued after she failed to show before a judge while she was studying for her finals at a college in Missouri, and two officers turned up at her apartment to arrest her.

She was handcuffed, taken to a nearby police station and booked - and she was so tired after a long night of cramming for her exams she asked if she could sleep in a holding cell while she waited for one of her college professors to arrive and bail her out.

Fischer recalls, "I ask...

The Best & Worst Of Jack Black

June 23rd, 2009 11:25am EDT
Year One
If only life were so simple as to allow enjoyable Jack Black be noticeably different than awful Jack Black. Perhaps the slightly thinner, slightly less beardy version of him could be the best version of him and the more unshaven and huskier version could be the worst version of him, or vice versa; something, anything, that would allow the audience to know what not to waste their time on.

Yes, if only life were this simple.

Sadly, it's not, otherwise I would not have recently lost 97 minutes of my life to Black's latest film, "Year One". While having its moments coming mainly fro...

Actress Jenna Fischer's performance in new comedy Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story is a "complete rip-off" of Reese Witherspoon's Oscar-winning turn in Walk The Line, according to the actress herself.

Fischer plays a backing singer who tames John C. Reilly's wild rocker Dewey Cox in the mock rockumentary, a parody of the Johnny Cash biopic for which Witherspoon won a Best Actress Academy Award. And Fischer admits she didn't have to look far for her inspiration.

She says, "It's a complete rip-off of Reese Witherspoon. I watched Walk The Line and just stole all her dance moves and h...

Judd Apatow Makes Unusual Promise

December 17th, 2007 10:00pm EST
Judd Apatow
"Superbad" director Judd Apatow is on a mission to put penises in every movie he makes and end America's fear of male members. The filmmaker placed a penis behind actor John C. Reilly's head in an orgy scene in Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story and watched as audience members stormed out of a test screening in disgust.

Undeterred, Apatow kept the penis footage in the film - and then made a "c**kumentary" about shooting the scene, which will appear on the DVD.

He says, "The original shot was way longer, where the penis is in close-up, and then one night we showed it to a test audien...
