	Amazing cast and TALENT but I was left annoyed because I believe that the true reason Vera 'helped' these girls was never alluded to or mentioned. I suspect that Vera was raped by her own father and subsequently had no choice but to bring into the world her daughter Ethel. Ethel is 'challenged' because of this. I hope I'm not the only one with this theory! If so...ooops! Just disregard my thoughts on this one!
