A freight train is carrying a dangerous cargo of combustible liquids and poisonous gas. When its engineer sets the engine on full throttle and leaves the cab and does not return, the train proceeds unmanned, creating a potential disaster. Two men, Frank Barnes and Will Colson, are sent by the yardmaster to do the near impossible--board the runaway train and stop it before it is too late.
