5 Favorite Father & Daughter Movies

9/23/2012 3:00pm EDT
Trouble with the Curve
'Trouble with the Curve' opened in movie theatres Friday starring Clint Eastwood and Amy Adams. Eastwood plays an aging Atlanta Braves baseball scout who takes his daughter (Adams) on his final trip to prove his worth to the organization. Adams plays his daughter (Mickey) and in their travels, she starts to take an active role to make up for his failing vision. Reviews have been mixed and with week box office numbers coming in, it's apparently played to some empty seats (couldn't help that one).

To honor the great Father - Daughter movies out there, we thought it would be appropriate to lo...

Arnold Schwarzenegger
Arnold Schwarzenegger has criticized the fourth Terminator movie, branding the 2009 science fiction follow-up "awful".

The veteran action star is enjoying his return to the big screen after fulfilling his political duties as Governor of California last year, starring in an upcoming sequel to The Expendables and new thriller The Tomb.

However, he is eager to reprise his iconic role as The Terminator after expressing disappointment with the last installment.

When asked which franchise he would like to return to, he tells, "(I'm open to) all those things, if it's True Lies, ...

52-Year-Old Jamie Lee Curtis Looks Amazing In A Short, Little Black Dress

10/26/2011 11:00am EDT
Jamie Lee Curtis
Jamie Lee Curtis showed off her great legs in a little black dress yesterday. She attended the 3rd Annual Peer to Peer "The Art of Human Engagement Through Effective Storytelling" event in Los Angeles.

We have no problem understanding why the actress was once known as "The Body" (a title she shared with supermodel Elle MacPherson). Curtis cemented her sexy symbol status when she appeared topless in the 1983 film "Trading Places." She later appeared topless in 2001's "The Tailor Of Panama" at age 42.

Of course, we could never forget the "sexy" dance scene she did for Arnold Schwarzenegger ...

Tina Fey Seduces Arnold Schwarzenegger, 'True Lies' Style

Tina Fey
One of the best moments in Date Night is when Tina Fey and Steve Carell have to pole dance for a coked-up politician, in a friendly nod to the True Lies scene involving Jamie Lee Curtis and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Well, thanks to the internet, we now have a video of Tina Fey attempting to seduce the Governator.

Watch the Video Below:

Tina Fey has never played a character with smooth dance moves, so there isn't a lot to work with here. However, it is still amusing to watch Arnold's reactions to several of her Liz Lemon moves from 30 Rock.

Arnold's currently working on a cartoon ti...

Arnold Schwarzenegger EW
Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to show business as a cartoon hero who creates a secret high-tech crime-fighting center under his Los Angeles home.

The action man-turned-politician has turned himself into a superhero, known as The Governator.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "When I ran for governor (of California) back in 2003 and I started hearing people talking about the Governator, I thought the word was so cool."

"The word Governator combined two worlds - the world of politics and the movie world. And (this cartoon) brings everything together. It combines the governor, ...

Tom Arnold Fought His Rabbi For Money

12/21/2010 11:35pm EST
Tom Arnold
Actor Tom Arnold recently stepped into the boxing ring after his rabbi challenged him to a fight.

The True Lies star thought it would be fun to step into the gym, shed a few pounds and toughen up - but he admits he wasn't looking forward to getting into the ring with his spiritual adviser for the charity scuffle, dubbed the Rumble in the Temple.

He says, "It's a lose lose... You either lose to your rabbi or you beat up your rabbi."

The Jewish punch-up raised cash for a rehab center, and Arnold was surprised so many people wanted to see someone smack him in the face.

Arnold was trained b...

January: The Worst Month For Cinema

1/8/2010 10:35am EST
The Worst Month for Cinema
January truly is the worst month for film. In fact, January is the equivalent of the second string JV team in high school. Its sole purpose is to warm the benches for the upcoming seasons.

The month sometimes holds a few kernels of popcorn goodness. The two genres that perform well, or at least have been granted a few sleeper hits in the past decade, are thrillers and sci-fi/horror. Last year 'Taken' and 'My Bloody Valentine 3D' were stars among flops in January. Typically, as rabid consumers of cinema, we forget about January. Honestly, do any of you fondly remember titles like, '...

Spy Movies: Which One Is Your Favorite?

3/23/2009 10:52am EDT
The movie Duplicity starring Clive Owen and Julia Roberts hit theaters this weekend. In the film, Owen, a former MI-6 agent, and Roberts, a former CIA agent, work together on a project, but neither feels they can completely trust each other. The word duplicity means to conceal one's true intentions by deceptive words or actions, and the title seems very fitting. The release is sure to be one of the more popular movies of the spring, and it got Starpulse thinking about the best spy movies.

One of the most entertaing spy movies is Arnold Schwarzenegger's True Lies, where he plays ...

Q&A: Tom Arnold On Being A Redneck, 'True Lies' Sequel Rumors & Goldilocks

1/20/2009 9:06am EST
Tom Arnold
Tom Arnold is a sports fanatic, a redneck, and a pretty cool guy. Arnold voices the role of Mac Bear in a new CGI animation film called Unstable Fables: Goldilocks and the 3 Bears, and he talked to Starpulse about this film and other projects that are keeping him busy these days.

1. What's different about this Goldilocks version and the traditional tale?

This is the same close, funny family at its core but with a contemporary storyline. These bears live in this new, contemporary, reality TV Paris Hilton world, but they hold onto their innocence and sense of family, which makes i...

Tom Arnold Urges Actors To Stay Out Of Union Dispute

7/11/2008 7:00pm EDT
Tom Arnold
True Lies star Tom Arnold has urged his peers to stay out of the feud between actors unions and the movie studios - because their comments aren't helping resolve issues and thwart a strike.

The movie star insists recent public comments made by the likes of George Clooney, Tom Hanks and Sean Penn only serve to hinder union bosses as they attempt to work out new deals on working conditions and royalties for their members.

Arnold feels sure there will be no actors strike - as long as union bosses are allowed to do their job without the input of outspoken stars.

He says, "We've g...
