The stuntwoman was driving a car in a scene while filming the action epic when a cable holding another vehicle snapped and struck her in the head, slicing open her skull and leaving her partially paralyzed and brain damaged.

Move over Harry Potter and Green Lantern - Universal Studios has developed a theme park ride based on Michael Bay's immensely popoular "Transformers" franchise. The $100 million project, called "Transformers: The Ride - 3D," is expected to change the way theme park attractions are created, according to the New York Daily News.

The visual effect supervisor from Industrial Light and Magic, Jeff White, worked on both the movies and the attraction. According to White, the designers created footage in 4k resolution, which is quadruple the number of pixels found on most screens.

Movie legend Anthony Quinn's actor son has died after suffering an apparent heart attack on Friday night. Francesco Quinn was 48.

He reportedly collapsed in the street outside his Malibu, California, home while running with his son Max. A neighbour attempted to revive him as paramedics were called, but Quinn was pronounced dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
