Former Traffic and Blind Faith star Steve Winwood is heading back out on the road with another rock legend after teaming up with Eric Clapton and Rod Stewart for tours in 2009 and 2013.

This time, the Higher Love hitmaker will be hitting the road with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers for a 28-date North American summer tour, which will include stops at Boston's Fenway Park in Massachusetts and the renovated Forum in Los Angeles.

Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro has written to Puerto Rico Governor Luis Fortuno urging him to halt the construction of a massive monkey-breeding facility in Guayama.

The Traffic star has discovered the facility will be run by Bioculture, a company that supplies primates to laboratories.

According to investigations carried out by animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), the company plans to capture monkeys from their homes in Mauritius, hold them captive in Puerto Rico, and sell thousands of their babies for use in painful and deadly experiments.

Reports have suggested the Oscar winner went too far with a practical joke and convinced the victims of a robbery he was the thief over the phone - and he would be striking again.

Oscar winner Benicio Del Toro has become such a big fan of Ernesto 'Che' Guevara after playing the revolutionary in director Steven Soderbergh's four-hour epic; he's eager to defend the leader from his critics.

The Traffic star spent months reading up on Guevara and is now convinced Che was "a warrior" with a very bad reputation. He says, "I remember Che being included in a TV show that showed pictures of terrorists. I was like, 'Why isn't (President Richard) Nixon there for the Vietnam war?' You'd have to put a lot of pictures of other people there before you'd put Che's."

Steven Soderbergh is set to shoot two back-to-back films about Latin American revolutionary Che Guevara. Soderbergh and Benicio Del Toro, who will play Guevara, have been working on the movies since they made Traffic together in 2000.
