Author Roth tells People.com, "It's pretty funny because she was pregnant when we were shooting, but she wanted to do her own stunt falls. She di...

What Are The Top 14 Most Memorable Topless Scenes On Film?

October 10th, 2012 9:06pm EDT
Phoebe Catest Fast Times at Ridgemont High
There are dozens of actresses who have no problem taking off their tops for the sake of a movie role, and their choices can end up either hurting or helping their careers.

Some stars say they'd do it only if the "right role" came along; and others simply refuse to go topless for any reason. And sometimes an actress's decision to go topless for a role can overshadow the movie itself -- which can be good (Demi Moore in Striptease) or bad (Jessica Biel in Powder Blue).

With the advent of the internet, many of these scenes now live on forever, but with topless and nude scenes a-dime-a-dozen, ...

'Mythbusters' Prove Jack Could Have Survived 'Titanic' (Video)

October 9th, 2012 12:37pm EDT
On a Titanic-based episode of Mythbusters, hosts Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman have proven that the movie's heart-breaking ending didn't have to be: Leonardo DiCaprio's Jack could have survived.

While it is proven that the rest of the scene is accurate - Rose would have survived long enough to blow the whistle that alerted a nearby boat, and Jack would have succumbed to hypothermia if he hung off the side of the piece of wood - the guys found that if Rose's life jacket was tired to the scrap of wood to increase its buoyancy, the two of them could have survived.

James Cameron responded i...

'Finding Nemo 3-D' And The History Of Theatrical Re-Releases

September 10th, 2012 3:07pm EDT
Finding Nemo
Disney and Pixar's Finding Nemo will be getting a theatrical re-release this weekend, continuing a growing trend of films being brought back to the big screen with a third dimension added.

Theatrical re-releases had gone down recently, due to the increasing popularity of big screen home entertainment centers in high definition - but with so few homeowners having a 3D TV, producers are keen to cash in on the technology.

Prior to home theaters being the norm, many movie companies re-released their flicks every several years to give audiences a chance to see the spectacle on the big screen. ...

May 26th, 2012 2:21pm EDT
Bill Paxton
Titanic star Bill Paxton took a huge risk when he embarked on a deep sea dive to the famed wreck because he was unable to secure life insurance coverage for the trip.

Paxton reveals he originally tried to get financial assurance for his wife Louise Newbury and their two children so they would be well taken care of in the event that the adventure went horribly wrong - but he was denied coverage and was forced to m...

'Battleship' Posts Disappointing Weekend, 'Avengers' Jumps To 4th Highest Gross Of All-Time

May 21st, 2012 2:03pm EDT
The Avengers
On Friday we forecasted that Battleship had no chance beating The Avengers over the weekend, but we had no idea the board game-turned-movie would debut so low.

Expected to make around $40 million its first three days, Battleship could only muster $25 million. A $209 million production budget and sizeable market spend means the film has some work to do if it doesn't want to be a total loss.

Meanwhile, Avengers continues to dominate the box office here in the United States and across the world. Domestically the film took in another $55 million, just over estimates. That puts its US total at...

However, fans in China were baffled to discover Winslet's saucy scene had been edited out, with the star only being seen from the neck up.
