Nothing can ruin an otherwise great night out at the movies like an ending that undoes all of the goodwill the film had built up with its viewers over the preceding 2+ hours. So what makes for a bad ending? Some of the movies on this list left us confused, some left us sad, some left us wanting more. James Cameron To Donate Deep Sea Craft To Oceanographic Institution

Moviemaker James Cameron is donating the craft he used for a deep sea diving project to a research group.

The Titanic director invested around $10 million of his own cash to fund the Deepsea Challenger submersible system, which helped him dive seven miles underwater to the world's deepest point, the Mariana Trench of the Pacific Ocean, southwest of Guam, in March last year.

He has now decided to hand the craft over to experts at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution to further their maritime exploration.

The new 3D Titanic movie has broken opening day box office records in China.

The reformatted disaster movie has already sailed to the top of film charts around the world and Chinese fans really couldn't wait to see the James Cameron epic.

They raced to cinemas on Tuesday to give the new version of the 1997 film the biggest opening day in the nation's history.

The film, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, sold $11.6 million - roughly a quarter of what the original grossed in China during its entire theatrical run in 180 theaters.

Director James Cameron has performed the deepest ever solo submarine dive after plunging seven miles underwater to the world's deepest point, breaking his own previous record.

The fearless filmmaker reached the Mariana Trench of the Pacific Ocean, southwest of Guam, on Sunday.
