Disney and Netflix announced a new deal on Thursday that will bring four new series featuring Marvel superheroes, inlcuding Daredevil, to the streaming video service.

Saturday was a huge day at this year's Comic Con, especially for Marvel studios.

The superhero movie-making factory had quite a few announcements to make, sending fans who were there (and who weren't there) into a frenzy over what's coming in the next two years.

The villain the Thor sequel has finally been announced. Christopher Eccleston will play Malekith, the lord of the Dark Elves, in 2013's Thor: The Dark World.

The comic version of Malekith has connections with the Casket of Ancient Winters, an artifact the frost giants from the first film were very interested in.

Christopher Eccleston is known for his turn as Dr. Who in 2005. He left after a single season, claiming he didn't want to be typecast as the famous character.

Charlize Theron ripped a stomach muscle on the set of the new Snow White movie after spending so much time screaming as part of her role as the tale's evil queen.

She tells MTV news, "I did enjoy just screaming at people. I screamed so much at people, I tore a stomach muscle, which I had never heard of that (sic) before."

Monster director Patty Jenkins has emerged as the odd favorite to pick up the THOR movie franchise from Kenneth Branagh.
