Michelle Williams Debuts Weird Bangs At NYC Target Event

April 10th, 2013 8:54am EDT
Michelle Williams
It's always a surprise when a style savvy star makes a fashion faux pas. But not everyone's perfect, including the lovely Michelle Williams.

The "Oz the Great and Powerful" star showed up to celebrity stylist Kate Young's Target launch at The Old School in New York City on Tuesday with a very strange hairstyle. Every woman knows how tough it is to grow out short hair, but Williams' three-way parted bangs are a bit over the top.

Bangs are hot right now (First Lady Obama and Kim Kardashian are just a few celebs who recently started sporting the look), but we think Williams looks like she ha...

The Strange And Surprising Career Of Cameron Diaz

June 23rd, 2011 1:00pm EDT
Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz is anything but a predictable actor. This Friday, “Bad Teacher” opens and will showcase Diaz’s R-rated comedy skills opposite Justin Timerlake and Jason Segel, an alumnus of the Judd Apatow school of raunchy humor. Directed by Jake Kasdan (“Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story”), Diaz stars as the world’s worst teacher who would rather get high in her car than teach her kids anything. While most moviegoers see her as just a pretty face who pops up in mediocre films, Diaz has had an incredibly unique and varied career in Hollywood over the last two decades.

Her breakthrough role ca...

Remember, the fellas on this list appear here because they got the biggest laughs, not because they were the best actors or in the best movies. Moviemaker Alan Ball has defended his decision to show a bloody tampon in his new film Towelhead, insisting it was important to detail his teenage lead character's first period on camera.

The American Beauty director has come under fire for the controversial scene but he insists he was right to show it.

He says, "I felt the bloody tampon was important because that's a moment that every young girl has and that's a moment that as a culture we want to keep hidden. We can make movies like There's Something About Mary, using semen as hair gel, and it's a huge hit - but to show a bloo...

Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigalo
First dates are always awkward. Between not knowing what to say, fumbling with the check when it arrives at the table, or wondering whether there will be a kiss at the end of the night, these situations are ones people can't wait to overcome. The Heartbreak Kid
The Heartbreak Kid, the latest collaboration between Ben Stiller and the Farrelly brothers, debuted in second place this past weekend with a modest $14 million haul at the box office. The last Stiller-Farrelly project, 1998's There's Something About Mary, pulled in $176.5 million that year.

The film has been widely panned by critics as less enjoyable than the 1972 original, which starred Cybill Shepherd as the dream girl. Fortunately, not all movie remakes end in disaster and box office disappointment. A few that worked:

Scarface (1983)

Al Pacino turned in an inspired perform...

Fame Makes Falling in Love Difficult, Says Matt Dillon

April 25th, 2006 5:00pm EDT

Matt Dillon blames fame for his failure to find love because it makes women play hard to get. The star, who famously dated his There's Something About Mary co-star Cameron Diaz in the 1990s, has no intention of having a failed marriage, insisting he will only propose when he knows it will be forever.

He tells gossip website The Scoop, "Sometimes it's tough because women think, 'Oh, he's used to getting what he wants.' You get a little bit of that resistance toward you because you bring all this other stuff with you. There's a lot of fish in the sea. Hopefully, you're only going to mar...
