This comedy pivoting around a Los Angeles home-security business was adapted by director Evan_Dunsky from a play by Keith Reddin. Heinrich Grigoris (Stanley_Tucci) welcomes new employee Tommy Hudler (David_Arquette) to Grigoris Security. During his first day on the job, Tommy sells a system and then goes to bed with his customer, single mother Gale Ancona (Kate_Capshaw). When Tommy introduces her to his parents, he finds they don't approve of his seeing an older woman. As he learns more about the home-security business, he discovers Grigoris profits from breaking into houses equipped with his system.
