Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has topped the box office chart for the second week, edging out Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.

Sylvester Stallone's latest old-guys-with-guns flick The Expendables 3 tanked with a $16.7 million opening, which wasn't even enough for third place, which went to comedy Let's Be Cops, which scored $17.7 million (the film opened Wednesday).

Why Fans Will Love (or Hate) Michael Bay's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'

Why Fans Will Love (or Hate) Michael Bay's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" will be in theaters this weekend. And despite being a film about cartoon turtles- perhaps one of the most universally loved subjects in all of filmdom, just behind fluffy bunny rabbits and superheroes that team up with other superheroes- "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" is a film rocked by controversy.

Maybe it has to do with the presence of a certain Michael Bay; maybe it has to do with with the Turtles looking like four Shrek knockoffs who were horrifically disfigured in a grease fire. Who knows? We're not here to judge.

We're here to say: "Teenage Mutant Ni...

Paramount Australia Apologizes For 'Ninja Turtles' 9/11 Poster
Paramount Australia executives have apologized after publishing a poster from upcoming film "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" that features a burning skyscraper with the release date Sept. 11.

The artwork showed the titular heroes leaping from a burning building with the release date splattered across it.

Backlash prompted movie bosses to remove the image from Twitter. They said in a statement: "We are deeply sorry to have used that artwork for the marketing materials promoting the September 11 opening in Australia. Combining that image and date was a mistake. We intended no offense and have...

First Look: New 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Trailer Reveals A
The second trailer for Michael Bay's live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie has been released, revealing a closer look at all four of the heroes in a half-shell.

Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello all show their faces in the new trailer, which doesn't differ much from the first teaser released in late March, but fans will finally see the distint look of each turtle and catch a glimpse of one of them on a skateboard. Sadly, no pizza yet.

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Gets A TV Teaser: 'Brothers'
"You live. You die. You fight... as brothers," says a voice we believe to be that of Master Splinter at the beginning of the new TV spot for this summer's live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. "Remember, nothing is as strong as family."

The new teaser, titled "Brothers," has been released and despite nearly all the footage being shown in last month's first teaser trailer (below) for the film, at least we get a decent look at the turtles' mentor, Splinter (Danny Woodburn, voiced by Tony Shalhoub). Although it's from behind.

Michael Bay's live adaptation of the series, which stars...

The first trailer for Michael Bay's live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film debuted Wednesday night at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, and despite all the negative comments from fans and critics, the movie actually looks promising.

The 80-second trailer finally reveals what the CGI turtles look like (which is pretty much exactly what you'd imagine a CGI mutant ninja turtle in a live-action film would look like) and reveals a few changes to the turtles' origin story.

William Fichtner, who plays number-one TMNT villain Shredder, reveals that he and the father of news reporter April O'Neil (Me...

William Fichtner
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film is unlike previous incarnations.

William Fichtner, who is set to play villain Shredder in the latest take on the classic comic book franchise, has revealed the 2014 reboot will be very different compared to the lighter, "cartoon"-like films released in the past.

He said: "It always had sort of a bouncy cartoon feel to me, which is great, that's why it was appealing. [But] that's not this movie. It's not like any 'Mutant Ninja Turtles' thing you've ever seen before. It's freaky, they're cool, and they're mutants and they look awesome. It's tough an...

Megan Fox in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Photographers have captured the first look at the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' ally April O'Neil, played by Megan Fox, from the set of the film.

In the photos, Fox is clad in yoga pants and tight pink top, apparently doing some soft news for Channel 6. She also has thick makeup (we're not sure if this is on purpose), red-tinged hair, and some ankle weights.

As photographers captured the scene, Fox jumped on a trampoline and started doing jumping jacks. Either this is just a scene to deliver eye candy, or some insight into why April O'Neil is getting fed up with her news reporting gig.
