Which A-List Actor Has Played Six Different Comic Book Characters?

October 19th, 2014 1:00pm EDT
Avengers
We've got a guessing game for you.

There are roughly 867,000,000 comic book movies out there, but among them is one actor with quite a few comic notches on his belt.

We'll start with a few clues: this actor is...

A man (which you could probably have guessed from the use of "his" in the previous sentence)

He's been in ten separate comic book films

In those ten films, he's played six different characters

He's got at least two more comic book movies in the pipeline

Give up? Maybe the picture below will help.

Chris Evans!

Despite having never grown up reading comic...

Megan Fox Reunites With Michael Bay For 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Reboot

February 22nd, 2013 8:16pm EST
CELEBNAME
Megan Fox and Michael Bay have apparently put their differences aside and will be teaming up once again.

The director announced on Thursday that Fox will be joining his upcoming reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Bay kept the message short and sweet on his official site, writing, "TMNT: we are bringing Megan Fox back into the family!"

There's no official word yet, but early speculation says Fox will be playing April O'Neil, the female lead in the series and the most notable human in the series.

Bay and Fox last worked together on the second Transformers film and had a reported fall...

Chris Colfer
Glee star Chris Colfer has been mastering an unexpected martial arts skill in between takes for the hit TV musical - Japanese sai swords.

The actor/singer admits he's wanted to learn how to use the daggers since he was a kid watching animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - and he's finally bought a pair to practice with in his trailer.

And Colfer showed off his newly-acquired skills during an appearance on Conan O'Brien's late night show on Monday.

Twirling a sword in each hand as the host looked on in fear, he said, "I have swords that I practice (with) everyday in my trailer and...

Brandon Routh Finds A New Superhero

February 23rd, 2009 1:08pm EST
Brandon Routh
Brandon Routh probably won't get to play Superman again given that the studio plans to totally reboot the franchise, a la Batman Begins/The Dark Knight. It seems he's found another comic book character though in Dylan Dog. He is set to star in the film version of Tiziano Sclavi's Italian comic book series in a film from producers Ahstok Amritraj and Patrick Aiello.

"We have a movie called Dead of Night which starts shooting in April with Brandon Routh," Amritraj said. "Kevin Munroe who did Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles [TMNT] is directing it. That shoots in New Orleans."

It's almost here. The Superbowl of Hollywood (a.k.a. The Academy Awards) will be held for its 80th run on February 24. With the announcement ceremony on January 22, I would like to take a moment to look at one of my favorite categories: Best Animated Feature.

Some real gems have been nominated in this category in the past (i.e. Spirited Away, The Incredibles, The Triplets of Belleville, etc.). For this year's Oscars, there are 12 animated features that have been submitted for consideration:

"Alvin and the Chipmunks," "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters," "Bee Mov...

Amber Pacific
Heralded by Alternative Press as one of the most anticipated albums of 2007, five-year-old Seattle quintet Amber Pacific has remained true to its sound, foregoing to jump on any pop-punk bandwagons. But the band's maturation is obvious, enough so that they teamed up with the Seattle Symphony who played strings on much of the album.

Working once again with producer Martin Feveyear (Mark Lanegan, Presidents of the United States of America), the band has crafted a record that is undoubtedly Amber Pacific. "This is who we really are," guitarist/vocalist Will Nutter declares.
