Spike Lee's acclaimed new bank heist thriller Inside Man has shot to the top of the box office with a $28.9 million opening weekend. The clever film, which pits detective Denzel Washington against bank robber Clive Owen, debuted at the top, ending V For Vendetta's one-week reign.
