From cool child star to chic adult actress, nobody has grown up with more class, sass and panache then the captivating Alexa Vega. The girl who caught audiences attention as the spy capable kid Carmen Cortez in the Spy Kids films has gone on to create even more memorable work with such roles as Shilo Wallace in Darren Lynn Bousman’s "Repo! The Genetic Opera" and the ying to Camilla Belle’s yang in the updated Jane Austin "From Prada to Nada." With all three original Spy Kids flicks recently hitting Blu-ray from Lionsgate (plus a fourth outing in theatres now!), we thought we’d check in wi...

Alexa Vega
Spy Kids star Alexa Vega has wed her longtime boyfriend at an opera house in South Dakota.

The 22-year-old actress exchanged vows with producer Sean Covel, 34, on October 10th. Vega was one of many people who chose to mark 10-10-10 as her wedding day. The couple ended their year-long engagement by saying their 'I dos' before family and friends at the Homestake Opera House in Lead, according to Life & Style magazine. The bride wore an Ian Stewart gown.

The big day wasn't without its drama - actress Camilla Belle was supposed be a bridesmaid but she fell sick at the last minute and wasn't...

Jessica Alba's Sparkly Silver Dress - Hot Or Not?

September 13th, 2010 6:30pm EDT
Jessica Alba
Jessica Alba wore a shimmering silver dress to celebrate "Fashion's Night Out" in New York on Friday.

We think she's pretty hot, but a new end-of-summer survey ranked Jennifer Garner ahead of her as "Hollywood's Hottest Mama." Not fair!

We just discovered that Jess is starring in "Spy Kids 4" alongside Joel McHale. The two will play the parents of the new spy kids. We're not sure this is a good career move, Jess.

She will also appear in "Little Fockers," in which a birthday party for the twins gives Greg (Ben Stiller) an opportunity to redeem himself after he takes a job that raises the...

Carla Gugino Steams Up The Sidewalk On Her Way To 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!'

August 19th, 2010 6:39pm EDT
Carla Gugino
Carla Gugino wore a busty black dress and signed autographs before appearing on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show in Los Angeles on Wednesday. This is a drastic improvement over her fashion fail earlier this year.

Carla stars in the upcoming film "Sucker Punch," about a mental patient (Emily Browning) who escapes from her reality to deal with her abusive stepfather.

Not familiar with the actress? She starred in "Spin City" opposite Michael J. Fox; in the "Spy Kids" franchise; and played Sacajawea-obsessed guide Rebecca in "Night at the Museum." She also fronted the failed TV series "Karen S...

Trailer Talk: This Week In Movies 7/26 - 8/1

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra
Over the weekend, I caught Judd Apatow's new film "Funny People" starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen. "Funny People" lived up to my expectations; it's funny at points with an appropriate seriousness that's present throughout the movie.

I thoroughly enjoyed the bond that Sandler and Rogen's characters form over the course of the film. Rogen plays a socially awkward comic struggling to find his way, and Sandler is a jaded celebrity trying to make meaning out of his tragic situation. I was surprised by how unlikable Sandler's character is at points, revealing that his problems in life a...

Starpulse's Explosive Summer Movie Preview

May 1st, 2009 10:06am EDT
Star Trek
Since the dawn of the American cinematic blockbuster in the late 1970s and early 1980s, moviegoers have eagerly waited for May - the unofficial beginning of summertime. This summer is no different. Films, and most popular media, are social mirrors, and this summer season supports that. The large box office contenders all deal with very similar themes: escapism and the support of the lone, outlaw hero figure (X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Star Trek, Terminator Salvation, Up, Transformers 2, Public Enemies, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Inglourious Basterds, et...
