Martin Scorsese
Director Martin Scorsese has set his sights on shooting a Frank Sinatra biopic, revealing he has already met with writers to develop the project.

The Goodfellas filmmaker is hoping to bring the Rat Pack star's life story to the big screen but Scorsese reveals he's struggling to come up with a focused script, although he hasn't ruled out developing a Sinatra TV miniseries.

He tells ETOnline.com, "I'm talking to one or two writers now. The problem is the biography. Where do you start? ...I met this writer who I think could do a lot with it, but (we) have to get a hold of the story. It's t...

With A-list films such as "The Proposal," "The Departed" and the upcoming Mark Wahlberg and Christian Bale movie "The Fighter" being filmed in Boston and its surrounding cities over the past few years, it's clear that ...

Most Memorable Mentally Ill Characters In Film
Just last week the movie "Shutter Island," starring Leonardo DiCaprio and directed by Martin Scorsese, was released in general theaters. Its first weekend was a success, and the film is about two U.S. marshals who come to investigate a special hospital for the criminally insane

when one of their patients go missing. One of the marshals, Teddy (DiCaprio) believes there are nefarious things going on at the hospital and seeks to get answers about possible Nazi human experimentation. This is hardly the first (nor the last) movie to take place at a mental institute or about people with mental...

Friday I caught Leonardo DiCaprio and Martin Scorsese's latest collaboration "Shutter Island." I was not blown away by it, but I did not think it was a terrible movie either. Since I have not read the novel on which it is based, I'm at a bit of a disadvantage to comment on whether it was a faithful adaptation; however as a thriller it kept me guessing for most of the film.

It does a good job of planting the seeds of doubt and conspiracy with you, as you start to piece together a series of bizarre dreams DiCaprio's character experiences. The most annoying aspect of the movie I thought ...

TRAILER TALK: THIS WEEK IN MOVIES 2/14/10
Last week I caught Steve Buscemi's dark comedy "St. John of Las Vegas" which was slightly disappointing. While the right brand of humor was there; twisted laughs and awkward moments that inspire chuckles

, I felt that the film did not have much to say.

The overarching story seemed to be building up to some kind of life altering self-realization or dramatic event taking place in Las Vegas for Buscemi's character John Alighieri. This moment never really came, and as a result the entire film seemed very anti-climactic.

Buscemi and Romany Malco make a hilarious team, as Malco's chara...
