Shrek The Third is the number one film at the international box-office, after making another $48.6 million over the weekend. The animated sequel's worldwide income outside of the United States now stands at $171.1 million.

Rupert Everett only took the job of providing the voice of Prince Charming in the Shrek movies because of the lucrative salary. Everett admits he wasn't very excited about the Dreamworks animation trilogy, but couldn't resist the huge pay check. He says, "I think of Shrek as a golden handshake in a career. There's nothingbad about the job. You don't do very much."
