However, MacLachlan, who played nightclub boss Zack Carey, admits he went into production believing Showgirls would be a provocative hit - and it wasn't until he viewed the finished edit that he finally realized it wasn't his best work.

He tells Britain's Metro n...

Actress Elizabeth Berkley re-launched herself as a self-help guru for young girls in a bid to distance herself from the saucy reputation of her infamous film Showgirls.

Berkley admits she spent years struggling with self-esteem issues after the release of the movie, and she was only able to "shake" the Showgirls image and rediscover her own "worth" five years ago, when she started hosting workshops and writ...

February 12th, 2008 8:46am EST
Carrie Ann Inaba
Remember when Alice fell down the rabbit hole and suddenly she was gallivanting with mad hatters, talking cards, and swam in a sea of her own tears?
