Guy Ritchie in revived talks for new King Arthur movie

Guy Ritchie is back in talks to direct a new movie version of the King Arthur legend four years after he first considered tackling the project.

The Sherlock Holmes filmmaker helped to develop a project about the medieval monarch's defeat of Saxon invaders, based on a script by Trainspotting screenwriter John Hodge, in 2010, but the plans to adapt it into a film fell through.

Now Ritchie is said to have resumed negotiations with studio bosses at Warner Bros., although details about the proposed movie remain under wraps, according to Deadline.com.

British actor Mark Strong has fuelled reports suggesting he is set to portray Superman's arch nemesis Lex Luthor in the Man Of Steel sequel after refusing to confirm or deny the casting rumours.

Sandra Bullock's "The Blind Side" has emerged as the most-rented DVD movie of all time, according to bosses at online film library Netflix.
