Kristin Davis Thrilled To Return To 'Adult' Acting
Kristin Davis jumped at the chance to reprise her role in Sex And The City: The Movie - because she was fed up with starring in family films.
After the hit program came to a finish in 2004, the actress, who plays Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the big screen adaptation of the series, struggled to land any challenging parts and was instead forced to accept "mom roles" in such films as Deck The Halls and Shaggy Dog.
She tells Britain's Now magazine, "They (were) mom roles. There's not a huge amount of choice for women my age, so it's not that easy. I had whole scenes in Deck The Ha...

We heard that you just turned 21 in August. Happy Birthday!
Thank you. It's very exciting to be 21.
Why?
I would be lying if I said that I hadn't had a few drinks before then, but every time you go to a place that features alcohol, like a bar, club, or restaurant, it's nice to be able to get a dri...

'Basic Instinct 2' & 'Little Man' Lead RAZZIE Nominations
Voters for this year's 27th Annual RAZZIE Awards had dozens of films to choose from. Heading the list of "Worst Achievements in Film" this year is Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct 2 and Shawn and Marlon Wayans in Little Man. Joining these films in the "Worst Picture" category are M. Night Shyamalan's Lady In The Water, Wicker Man and Bloodrayne.
The Wayans brothers and 'Wicker Man's Nicolas Cage will be competing for "Worst Actor" of 2006 against last year's "winner" Rob Schneider in Benchwarmers, former TV funnyman Tim Allen, with a trio of terrible titles (Santa Clause 3, Shaggy Dog a...

New Movies on DVD, Aug. 1
Natalie Portman had few qualms about shaving her head for V for Vendetta. The film centers on the futuristic landscape of totalitarian Britain. A man cloaked in mystery ignites a revolution and finds an unlikely ally in a seemingly mild mannered young woman (Portman). And Tim Allen had no problem portraying a dog in The Shaggy Dog. In this film, an unexpected transformation helps a workaholic attorney (Allen) learn that there's more to life than the courtroom in this remake of the 1959 Disney canine classic of the same name.

Kristin Davis Did Family-Friendly Role for Grandmother
Kristin Davis accepted the role in new movie The Shaggy Dog because her grandmother approved of the family film. Davis' grandparent refused to watch her performances in raunchy TV series Sex And The City, and she is thrilled to be performing in something more respectable.
She says, "I really wanted to make the film because I love dogs and I love comedy, and I'm happy that I can take my grandmother Flossie to this film. She is adorable and refuses to say the title of the show I used to be on, and of course she wouldn't watch it, so it's really nice that I can say, 'Let's take grandma t...

Kristin Davis Enjoys Smooching Dogs
Kristin Davis is stunned by people who are disgusted by her love of kissing dogs - insisting they simply do not understand what it's like to be a "dog person." The sexy brunette, who recently caused a stir with pooch-smooching antics in Disney film Shaggy Dog, is dismissive of her squeamish critics.
She says, "I don't mind it at all. I am a dog fanatic. And dog lovers are just different. On Sex And The City there was a scene where a dog was licking my lips. But it was put in a magazine saying, 'Don't do that, Kristin, it's so rude!' Those people aren't dog people. They don't understa...

Monkey Business on Set of 'The Shaggy Dog'
Tim Allen risked life and limb in his latest comedy The Shaggy Dog at the hands of a mad, menopausal monkey. The star ignored the age-old acting rule 'Never work with animals' and found himself spending hours in a car with a menagerie of creatures, including a crazed spider monkey called Dorothy.
Allen admits he was terrified at times - especially after finding out the ape really didn't like him. He recalls, "Dorothy and I didn't get along because Dorothy was in her female cycle so it affected her to be near me. The trainer said, 'She's a little hyper right now, and she's a little sens...

Filming 'The Shaggy Dog' Was Humiliating for Tim Allen
Tim Allen looked to Oscar winning actor Russell Crowe to provide inspiration while filming The Shaggy Dog. In the remake of the classic Disney film, Allen plays a man who transforms into his family's sheepdog. Allen had to film many scenes in a flesh-colored thong with computer-generated technology later turning him into the beloved canine, and he found the experience humiliating.
He explains, "I'm in the (dog) cage buck naked. I'm sitting there looking at a (fake) dog and a fake cat and I'm thinking, 'What would Russell Crowe do with this? How would Russell Crowe handle this?' He wou...
