Sadly Boondock Saints II was an utter disappointment. While it had occasional bright moments, the film was marred by a number of problems.

Largely referential to the first film, it felt at many moments as if should be parodying itself, but it sadly wasn't. The overarching story tried to be overly complex in the web of manipulation it sought to weave.

Special Agent Eunice Bloom (Julie Benz) was a terrible replacement for Agent Smecker (Willem Dafoe), embodying every annoying Southern stereotype.

Damon Dash & Robert De Niro Team Up on Film Projects

Roc-a-Fella Records co-founder Damon Dash has teamed up with Robert De Niro to make a film about the life of legendary New Yorker Larry Davis. At 19, Davis traded fire with New York City cops, wounding six of them and escaping despite being shot in the head.

After eluding a manhunt for 17 days, Davis turned him himself in to the FBI on the promise that federal officials would investigate local police corruption. Dash explains, "In urban culture, Larry Davis is somewhat of a legend."

Jay Leno Subs for Roger Ebert

"Tonight Show" host Jay Leno will be the first replacement co-host on the TV series "Ebert & Roeper" as film critic Roger Ebert recovers from cancer surgery. Leno's episode will air on August 5 where he will review the movies Talladega Nights: The Ballad Of Ricky Bobby, Miami Vice, Little Miss Sunshine, The Night Listener and Shadow Boxer.

The show will be relocating from its home base in Chicago, Illinois, to Los Angeles to accommodate Leno's schedule. Clerks II director Kevin Smith will sub for Ebert the week of August 12.
