Movie maker Brett Ratner is hoping to persuade busy British thespian Ian McKellen to play the villain in his third Rush Hour movie. Ratner, who directed McKellen in X-Men: The Last Stand, admits he's a huge fan of the actor and loves it when he's bad.

Chris Tucker, Jackie Chan and director Brett Ratner are all heading to Paris, France, this summer to film the second Rush Hour sequel. Rush Hour 2 grossed nearly $350 million worldwide, prompting the two lead actors to demand blockbuster salaries to return - Chris Tucker will receive $20 million, while Jackie Chan will pocket $15 million.

Although the movie isn't scheduled to be released until 2008, DreamWorks Animation announced today that two-time Academy Award winner Dustin Hoffman, international superstar Jackie Chan, and award-winning actor Ian McShane are joining Jack Black in the cast of the computer-animated comedy "Kung Fu Panda." In addition, award-winning actress Lucy Liu is currently in talks with the studio to voice another main role.
