Starpulse's Explosive Summer Movie Preview
Since the dawn of the American cinematic blockbuster in the late 1970s and early 1980s, moviegoers have eagerly waited for May - the unofficial beginning of summertime. This summer is no different. Joe: Rise of Cobra, Inglourious Basterds, et...

Its future was thrown into jeopardy before it could be released when MGM was bought by a consortium headed by Sony in 2005. It was released in the U.K. in 2006, but has been left in limbo in the U.S. as the filmmakers attempt to unravel a legal mess so the film can be seen by the American public....

'Romance And Cigarettes' Director Liked Kate Winslet's Curvy Figure
John Turturro begged Kate Winslet not to slim for her role in Romance And Cigarettes because her post-pregnancy curves were perfect for the part. Turturro was initially concerned Winslet was too lean to play sexy Tula, as she lacked the sensuality he wanted for the character. But once the British beauty and her director husband Sam Mendes had baby Joe in 2003, her curves returned and Turturro was delighted.
He says, "When I met her she was very thin. She'd read the script and she liked it, but I thought, 'There's nothing here, she's so small.' Then she got pregnant, and she was upset...

James Gandolfini uses his art to stand up for the working class because he feels they are badly treated. The star, 44, particularly enjoyed researching for his role as Nick Murder in new romantic comedy Romance And Cigarettes because his character is a normal man affected by every day issues.
He says, "People really interest me, especially the way things affect them. It's basically why I became an actor: I have this big passion for the lower-middle class and the blue-collar guy - it's how I was brought up, and I don't like the way our country treats them. By becoming an actor; well,...

James Gandolfini Impressed by Kate Winslet's Cursing

He says, "Kate's great. She can sing, she's so funny. And yeah, she can swear. People think I can swear. But she can really swear. Yeah, I was impressed."
