July 16th, 2014 10:26am EDT
Rocky

Declining ticket sales have sent the production to the mat after just five months on the Great White Way at the Winter Garden Theatre.

Stallone spent well over a decade adapting the movie for the stage and collaborated with Ukrainian boxers Vladimir and Vitali Klitschko on the production, but in the end "Rocky - The Musical" will officially close on August 17 after 200-plus performa...

Sylvester Stallone: ''The Expendables 2' Will Be Rated R'

Sylvester Stallone
Sylvester Stallone has abandoned plans to make his sequel to The Expendables more family-friendly by toning down the violence and bad language.

It emerged in January that the Rocky star was eyeing a PG-13 rating for the action movie amid rumors cast member Chuck Norris had requested no cursing in the script.

Fans of the first film feared the development meant the hard-hitting movie would be toned down for a younger audience - but Stallone, who writes and stars in The Expendables 2, has now revealed the sequel will have a restricted 'R' rating after all.

He tells the StalloneZone websi...

Based on Michael Lewis' novel, the movie adaptation focuses in on one particular story in the book - the rise of Michael Oher, an offensive lineman who went from living on the streets to becoming a first-round draft pick in this year's NFL...

The Five Most Underrated & Overrated Sports Movies

Sports movies are often beloved but rarely good. It's hard to say why it is so difficult to make a great sports movie. It could be that there is far more drama in actually following sports than there is in watching a dramatized version on film. It could also be that it is so hard to make a sports movie that doesn't seem entirely unrealistic yet is filled with the appropriate amount of drama. Whatever the case, it's about as hard to make a great sports movie as it is to hit a Jake Peavy fastball.

Despite this, it seems more and more sports films are made each year, and even as the qu...
