'Reno 911!' Co-Creator Announces Cancellation On Twitter
Thomas Lennon, co-creator of the Comedy Central live-action show Reno 911!, has announced via Twitter that the show won't be returning for a seventh season.
The message reads: "Reno 911! was cancelled at 1:30 pm today. Won't be wearing the shorts again."
The show was a mockumentary-style parody of "COPS" and other law enforcement shows, featuring improvised dialog and the entire cast of "The State" in reoccurring or cameo roles. The sixth season's cast was radically changed, with Carlos Alazraqui, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and Mary Birdsong leaving the show.

Reno 911!: Miami Hits Theaters Feb. 23
Reno 911!....Beginnings:
"Reno 911!" co-stars-writers-executive producers Robert Ben Garant, Thomas Lennon, and Kerri Kenney-Silver first met in college, where they created a comedy troupe they called The State.
