Happy Birthday to Nick Nolte - the Hollywood actor turns 70 today.

The two-time Oscar nominee rose to fame with a role in the hit 1970s miniseries "Rich Man, Poor Man," while his 1980s buddy cop movie "48 Hrs." launched the big-screen career of his co-star Eddie Murphy.

An all-around renaissance man, Nolte has made a name for himself as an athlete, model and producer, and he's played a wide range of characters in more than 40 Hollywood movies.

It's hard to imagine that it's been 20 years since I wore my New Kids On The Block t-shirt holding a pink and black pocket rocker, which was playing "Hanging Tough" of course, in one hand and a sign saying "I hart you Jordan! Bravo will pay tribute to the nearly five-decade career of director Ron Howard in the special, "Moving Image Salutes Ron Howard" on Saturday, Jan. 7, at 9 pm. The salute will include presentations from Howard's star-studded colleagues and friends as well as exclusive film clips.
