August 7th, 2010 9:00am EDT
Sylvester Stallone
Sylvester Stallone is glad his sixth Rocky movie salvaged his film career - but he made no money from the film's $200 million profit.

The Hollywood legend boosted his dwindling popularity by revisiting his most famous franchise for a final installment, Rocky Balboa, in 2006. The bold move worked, and he went on to make a fourth Rambo film in 2008 before teaming up with fellow big-screen action men Bruce Willis and Mickey Rourke for new movie The Expendables.

And Stallone is adamant making the 2006 boxing picture was a wise decision - even though he has not banked any of the film's enorm...

Action man Sylvester Stallone is convinced getting hurt on a movie set is a "good omen," because all the films which have left him with serious injuries have done well at the box office.

The 64-year-old Hollywood star has never been afraid to perform death-defying stunts in his blockbusters, because taking health risks has always paid off. He tells Maxim magazine, "It's a good omen. Every film I've done where I got injured has turned out great. Rocky II was 60 stitches; Rocky III was a concussion; the last Rambo was a bruised artery. Ones where I come out unscathed? Disasters."

May 22nd, 2008 11:16am EDT
Indiana Jones
(HollywoodChicago.com) – After such a long respite from the beloved film progression, I was initially just as skittish about seeing Harrison Ford back in the Indy saddle as I was watching Sylvester Stallone back in the ring in “Rocky Balboa” in his 2006 comeback and then again in 2008 in his “Rambo” return.

Ultimately, though, I had faith in director Steven Spielberg not to royally torpedo the monolithically anticipated “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” which resurrects the Chicago-born, 65-year-old Harrison Ford as one of my favorite film characters of all time.
